Poppies
Produced completey by hand, no computer involved, until scanning in the final image.
This print started life as a sketch, which I then cut into (paper) stencils with a craft knife. I then mixed each colour individually until it was just right and I applied this ink through the gaps in the paper stencils with a durathene roller.
Layering shapes and colours to create depth, texture and atmosphere.
